About us

Family is important to us. We both come from big, close knit families and understand the value of spending time with those you love. Gather & Groove encompasses everything we have desired for our lives: adventure, community, joy, and love.

midwest meets southern.

Alex is from Minnesota and Savannah is from Texas. The two crossed paths while on their own adventures in the mountains of California. They made their way to Minnesota to plant roots and start a family - a different type of adventure and the best one yet.

serendipity turned opportunity.

In September 2023, we attended a wedding in Des Moines, IA. Some of our friends were getting married and our sweet littles were flower girls. We ate, we drank, we danced, and we took pictures in the most unique Photo Booth to capture the night. Alex chatted with the owner of the booth and learned they were transitioning their business in a new direction and would be parting ways soon. Serendipity turned opportunity. The week before Christmas, we had a ‘68 Volkswagen Bus parked in our garage or as they say “The rest is history”.

We experienced the magic, laughter and fun this Photo Booth is capable of and we are so excited to share that with you, your friends, your family - the people who love you and show up for you. Life consists of moments. Big moments, little moments and the walking in between. We believe a moment is not only worth celebrating, but also worth capturing.
